Any rider has likely had to explain to a friend or colleague that there is much more to riding than 'just sitting there!' at least once, if not multiple times. We all know this sport requires an impressive combination of balance, strength, coordination and stamina in addition to steady mental focus. Like any other sport, cross-training can offer a multitude of benefits in order to become a more well-rounded athlete.
Kings Meadow is now offering yoga classes to all riders! This is a perfect way to improve your balance, strength, and cues in the saddle, while focusing on the legs and core. Sessions are designed specifically for riders 18 years and over.
Classes are held during the afternoons, evenings and weekends, to suit everyone's timetables.
