About Us
Kings Meadow
The spacious paddocks, all-weather paddocks, and pastures allow horses plenty of room for exercise and ample grazing, as well as strengthening of muscles of young horses. At King’s Meadow, we aim to offer a worry-free experience to both the pleasure and competitive rider. Clients can expect to enjoy the social aspect of being at the barn, just as much as they enjoy the time spent with their horse.
While our main focus is in the hunter and dressage ring, we have boarders whose interests span a variety of disciplines – from trail riding to Western Pleasure. The trails located next to Kings Meadow are available for boarders to use with their own horses. Kings Meadow is also an accredited member of the Ontario Equestrian Federation Horse Facilities Council, which establishes, upholds and recognizes the accepted standard of equine professionals throughout Ontario. A true testament to Kings Meadow Equestrian Centre's commitment to rider safety, education and animal welfare!
Meet The Owner
Kings Meadow is owned and managed by Ashley Van Der Hout, a graduate of the Kentucky School of Horseshoeing as a Master Farrier. Although her specialty lies in the hunter, equitation, and dressage ring, she has vast experience in a variety of disciplines, with a strong focus on the importance of solid flatwork, horsemanship and proper equitation.
