Kings Meadow boarding services provide a comfortable, peaceful environment to board your horse. As the owner lives on-site, you can board with the full confidence that your horse is in good hands at all times. She has many years of invaluable experience in the industry, as well as a staff that are well-trained and knowledgeable.
Our boarding facility boasts complete care for both the pleasure and competitive rider. We have a selection of boarding packages available in order to accommodate individual needs of each of our boarders. All boarders have full use of the facilities, we offer full day turnout in small groups, or half day individual/paired turnout. Turnout hours are sunrise-sunset, weather permitting.
Primarily an adult and young riders facility, for the enjoyment and safety of all clients we do not allow children under the age of 12 inside the barns or arenas at any time without written permission from Kings Meadow management, unless they are part of our lesson program and supervised by coach or assistant. Minors must have adult supervision at all times, unless they are part of our lesson program and supervised by coach or assistant.
Prior to moving your horse to our facility we ask that a complete equine history be filled out, as well as proof of insurance and vaccination certificates. We also arrange a face-to-face meeting with all prospective boarders, during which time we discuss their needs, the horse's medical history and any special requirements their horse may have.
Vaccinations must include:
- WEE
- EEE
- Rabies
- Flu
- West Nile
- Tetanus
- Rhino
- Strangles
- Up-To-Date Worming
Quarantine, fecal tests* and any required deworming** will be done prior to including new horses in our turnout fields.
*A $25.00 fee will be charged for fecal tests
*A $25.00+HST fee will be charged for deworming
We have quarantine stalls and separate individual turnout areas for new ship-ins until they are ready to join our regular turnout program. Upon arrival at the farm a thorough check of each new horse is completed, including a weight check to monitor their feeding program and adjust as needed. Kings Meadow offers rehabilitation and weight gain programs priced according to the individual horse, in addition to our regular boarding packages. Inquire for more details.
We maintain full-liability insurance and have emergency plans in place, which are reviewed regularly. Main staff are certified for Emergency First Aid with CPR Level A + AED.
Board payments must be made monthly on the 1st of each month by post-dated cheques. Billing for any extra services outside of your boarding package will be invoiced separately, payable upon receipt.

KINGS MEADOW Equestrian Centre Inc. is a member of good standing of the Ontario Equestrian Federation. ALL boarders must provide Kings Meadow with an up to date OEF membership
